For more than 25 years, I worked in international corporate communications providing a range of services to blue-chip companies. I reported to the C-Suite and in one corporate role supported 4 different CEOs in 5 years! Corporate life can be fast-paced and we have to be agile, flexible and adept at tackling new issues and building new relationships. Rewarding as it can be, a corporate career is also often draining, exhausting and hard - and it’s not always going to be straightforward. Having support to tackle organisational changes and demands ourside our control can be the difference between thriving, delivering results and performing well - and being happy.

My corporate and coaching career spanned a range of industries : Hospitality (Jumeirah Group, Hilton Hotels), Financial Services (Mastercard, Banco Sabadell, Iccrea Bank, Hiscox Insurance, IF Insurance & Canopius Lloyds Insurer), Consultancy (PwC, EY, EY Parthenon), Aviation (Airbus), FMCG (Coca Cola), Manufacturing (Sandvik), Industry/Oil & Gas (BP) and Tech (Avanade, BlackBerry).

My career has taken me around the world. I have worked with international teams from across the continents including: UK, USA, Brazil, India, the UAE and wider Middle East (Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, KSA), as well as Asia (Singapore) and Europe (Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, Spain and Italy).

It was my work with colleagues and clients from many parts of the world that inspired me to qualify as a ESL teacher (CELTA) and coach Executive English and communication skills. I’ve been coaching proficient non-native English speakers since 2020, and have more than 900 client hours of 1-1 engagement.

Corporate work took me to every major market in the world.

I qualified and worked as a lawyer following completing my BA Honours degree in Law & Politics from the University of London. After a decade in law and following a move to Dubai in 1999, I moved into marketing, reputation management and corporate communications. Building my expertise, I worked for a number of leading brands over the following 20 years, including many household brands. When I moved to Brazil in 2020 (due to Covid) I followed my passion for mentoring and sharing my knowledge and moved into English and communication coaching. Working with EF Education, the world’s largest professional language development company, I supported clients from a range of professions including banking, marketing, engineering, education, customer service, consultancy and professional services from blue-chip companies in Italy and Spain as well as further afield such as Brazil. To date I’ve conducted nearly 900 hours of 1-1 engagements.
