Coaching for Individuals

Crafting Your Coaching

The Career Cycle & Advancement

  • New job? If you haven’t yet decided on the right career path for you – then coaching can support you in your decision making. Don’t make an early career mistake that might take you a long time to recover from. Get the first steps right. Coaching can support you.

First job? Are you moving into a new world and want some support in adjusting to your working environment. Don’t let work overwhelm you. It’s normal to feel out of balance or that you aren’t showing your value or fulfilling your potential – particularly in those early years. Launch with confidence. Coaching can support you.

  • Have you been in role for some time – doing well? Feeling good? How is your work-wellness? If you aren’t having the success you have been striving for, feeling overlooked, or you are facing conflicts or obstacles that are stopping you in your professional development – coaching can support you.

Ready to take the next step to achieve your ambitions? Coaching can support you.

  • We all have them. Sometimes the crisis is just a blip and it resolves itself. Other times the little bump becomes a full blown crisis resulting in strong feelings of confusion and turmoil. Win, don’t quit! Staying might be better than leaving and we don’t all have the option to move on. Change can be made and positive resilience is important to manage crisis, and long term work-wellness. Coaching can support you.

  • Variety is the spice of life! But sometimes change can be daunting. It can be a ‘should I/shan’t I’ decision leading to confusion and fear of making a mistake. Remember even a great job can become mundane and leave us lacking. If you need to re-launch and reinvigorate your career, if you want to explore new areas or use your skills for a different purpose – coaching can support you.

  • Ending your career can be a big deal – but it doesn’t need to be a negative experience. It can be an empowering and exciting time of life. It’s a time of questioning and option review. What’s next? Moving onwards with vitality and positivity means that you can launch into a new phase with confidence and calm. Coaching can support you.

Work Well-Being: balance & fulfillment

If you are ‘living for the weekend’ you’re not alone

It is important not to neglect the strain of being unhappy or unfulfilled in the workplace.

Coaching is a tool that brings you insight, informs decision-making, and helps you identify and manage the challenges and struggles holding you back.

Through coaching I can support you to fulfill your potential, own, and navigate, your professional development and address your work well-being, which can take you towards career fulfillment.

“Work-wellness is essential if you are to have a positive work experience.” Vicki Merrill

How Interview Preparation & Coaching Works

Step 1: In the Discovery Call we will discuss your needs to understand what you want to achieve.

Step 2: I will prepare for our first session. This will include the following:

  1. Pre-coaching session research

  2. Review your CV

  3. Review the job description

Step 3: Interview preparation coaching session with you for 2 hours (more sessions can be arranged as required) during which time we will discuss:

  • CV – through asking open questions to get you to talk about yourself and feel comfortable

  • Why this job - discussion about the opportunity and what it means to you

  • Skills and role - through discussion you will be more able to link your skills and interests to the role, the company, and its culture

  • Why you - you will be able to identify what value you bring to the role through insightful discussion

  • Practice interview questions – challenge yourself outside the interview room so you are best prepared

  • Obsticles - discuss confidence, nerves and identify any limiting beliefs that might be holding you back

  • Mindset - moving the mindset from nerves and judgement to enjoying sharing information about yourself and what you can bring to an organisation

  • Coaching plus - enjoy the benefits of gaining insight and new perspectives that extend beyond the interview room such as self-confidence or greater self-awareness

Presentation and Communication Confidence

If you have an important presentation coming up, bring it to our sessions and practice and polish your performance. A great presentation isn’t just what you say, but how you say it. With a career in communications, I can coach you through authentic materials and set the success of a presentation within your wider career ambitions.

First Step towards Getting Going:  A 30 minute Discovery Session

A discovery call is not a sales call.  It is a complimentary introduction session which will be up to 30 minutes.  There is no obligation to go forward after this first engagement but it is an important part of the coaching process.   A discovery session is an opportunity to meet each other, discuss the possibility of coaching and agree next steps.  We will have an open discussion and you will have the chance to ask any questions you may have before any commitment is made to coaching.
