Victoria Merrill also known as Vicki Merrill and trading as VAMcoaching (together “VAMcoaching” or “we”), is the Owner and Data Controller.

This privacy statement explains the practices in place to safeguard your information collected through our interaction and products, and how we use that data.  We comply with applicable data legislation. The main laws governing data protection in the UK are known as the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018.   The data collected in the course of our interactions may be your name, email address, telephone number and sometimes your address in order to operate effectively and provide you the best experience when using the services. You provide some of this data directly when you email hello@vamcoaching.com to request information.

How Your Personal Data is Used

VAMcoaching uses the data collected from you to provide you with an invoice or receipt for purchased services, to communicate with you regarding inquiries you have made, to book, change, or cancel an agreed appointment, and to advise you of any useful information that may come to our attention which is related to your original inquiry.

All personal information is protected by passwords and anti-virus support.  Your information is not shared with third parties for any form of marketing or joint ventures.

We may disclose your personal data to our insurers and/or professional advisers insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes of obtaining or maintaining insurance coverage, managing risks, obtaining professional advice, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure. With your permission, your data may be used to add to a mailing list.

Your personal data will be shared with your consent as above, or as necessary to complete any transaction or provide any product you have requested or authorised.

How to Access & Control Your Personal Data

You can request that your personal data be removed or deleted from any systems within the control of VAMcoaching at any point in time.  In addition to any other rights you may have under laws and regulations, you have the right to request your personal data, have any inaccurate personal data about you rectified and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to have any incomplete personal data about you completed.

We may update this policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes to this policy.

Retaining Data

This policy is designed to help ensure that legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal data are complied with. Personal data that is processed for any purpose will not be kept for longer than is necessary. Personal data is retained where retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.
